Office Towne was incorporated in the State of Iowa in 1996 when the original owners recognized a need for a local office supply store that could provide and maintain office equipment in a town of roughly 7000. Within the first year, they added a computer department to fulfill the computer needs of their customers. Our computer department is still an Authorized Microsoft Retailer and an Authorized Dell Business Reseller.

In the fall of 1998, a RadioShack franchise was established, adding over 4000 SKUs to our already established office supply store. Since then, we have become an Authorized DISH Network Retailer, DIRECTV Authorized Retailer, and Kyocera Authorized Reseller.

In the summer of 2006, we relocated to our current location of 1108 3rd Ave SE, seeing a need to be where the people could better reach our products and services.

We are members of the Independence Chamber of Commerce, Independence Ambassadors, and the Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
